Laser Treatments

Laser technology makes it possible to remove unwanted hair and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, acne, rosacea and vascular lesions. Dr. Zaluzec’s office offers the most up-to-date laser technology using the Sciton Joule X Platform to help you with all of your skincare needs. She has been expertly trained on all modalities this device offers.

BroadBand light treatment is a non-invasive skin care treatment in which intense pulses of light penetrate the skin's different layers. Broad-spectrum light targets the damaged skin using bright flashes to warm the skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to regenerate new collagen foundation, leading to increased skin firmness. This process will restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger-looking. The photothermal energy will also eliminate fine vessels that cause redness and reduce unwanted melanin that produces pigmented lesions.

Not only does the skin look rejuvenated, but discoloration and other issues also fade or disappear. The entire treatment takes only 30 minutes with no downtime or recovery. Any slight redness or swelling dissipates within a few hours after the treatment.

  • The best candidates for BBL skin rejuvenation are those with untanned skin that still has some elasticity in it. Candidates may also have skin conditions such as rosacea or sun damage. BBL treatments are often requested by people with busy schedules, as they do not take long to perform and come with no recovery or downtime.
  • Most patients will require three to four treatments to achieve the best cosmetic results, with maintenance treatments periodically after that to maintain their new, younger-looking complexion.
  • The following skin conditions can be treated with BBL (on most areas of the body):
    • Pigmented lesions (freckles, age spots)
    • Vascular lesions (small blood vessels)
    • Acne
    • Skin texture
    • Unwanted hair
