Dr. Zaluzec was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. During this time, she actively volunteered at her high school as an educator and resource for girls struggling with eating disorders and body image distortion. She learned early on that there is a strong connection between physical health and mental health. This experience cemented her interest in pursuing a surgical career in both general and plastic surgery.

Dr. Zaluzec has published many papers and book chapters in both aesthetic and reconstructive journals throughout her medical career and enjoys teaching new and upcoming surgeons.

Plastic surgery is a team effort. The level of communication established between you and your surgeon is an essential factor in the success of your surgery. Dr. Zaluzec and her team devote their full attention to each patient and are focused on building long-term relationships.

Dr. Zaluzec believes in being involved in all aspects of patient care, from the first consult to long-term follow-up, she strives to partner and support her patients. Her care approach involves listening intently to her patient's wishes and expertly assessing surgical options ranging from cancer treatment reconstruction to the nuances of facial symmetry in aesthetic procedures. Her surgical interests focus on breast and body rejuvenation and reconstruction, non-invasive aesthetic modalities, and facial aesthetics.

All aspects of personal health and wellness of the body are an integral part of life for Dr. Zaluzec. Prior to her formal medical training, she completed a yearlong apprenticeship with Power Pilates. She is passionate about health and fitness in addition to her medical expertise to help patients and clients meet their goals in cosmetic wellness.

In her free time, Dr. Zaluzec enjoys running around with her young twins! She loves to stay active, snowboard and ski, and cannot wait to teach her children. She is dedicated to exercise as a way to relieve stress and maintain a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle.
