Kybella

Kybella is a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid. This acid occurs naturally in the body and aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into fat beneath the skin, Kybella destroys fat cells. These cells are then permanently removed from your body.

• Yes. However, if you gain weight, the fat cells that you still have in your body can enlarge, creating an unaesthetic contour. During your consultation, we will assess your areas of concern, discuss treatment options and results, and answer any questions you may have.
• Most patients will need two to six Kybella treatments to achieve best results; treatment sessions are generally four to six weeks apart. You will start to see results approximately four weeks after your first session. Dr. Zaluzec will discuss your treatment course with you at your consultation.
